TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
